Tiberius Tac-8 Pistol

My first impression upon holding the Tac 8 was the large size of the grips, this gun definetly feels fat in my hand. The grip is also long, sticking a good 2 1/2 to 3 inches out from under the bottom of my hand. The gun is well balanced, most of the weight is in the bottom of the gun. The magazine accounts for about 60 percent of the whole weight of the Tac 8. That being said it pulls the marker down solidly in your hand.

From top to bottom the marker is alot smaller then my Zeus pistols, making it fit easily in the standard universal holster, the mags however do not fit inside standard mag pouches. The mags are well designed and solidly constructed. They hold 8 rounds a peice as well as the co2 cartridge. The magazine requires an allen wrench to remove and install new co2 cartridges.

Performance:

It should be noted first off that once you slide the magazine into the marker it is live, there is no hammer or cocking rod, you put the mag in and pull the trigger thats it. So be sure you have the saftey engaged and are using a barrel blocking device. I fired 3 clips from the marker before the cartridge was depleted, the shots held a consistant velocity until the last 2 or 3 on the 3rd clip, you do lose some air when removing the clip, but unless your pulling and replacing the clips for no reason it doesn't really effect anything.

The accuracy on this thing is awesome, i fired both Origin Artic Frost which is a hard shelled winter paint, and Origin Basic Training which is a rec grade paint, both performed very well with the Tac 8, with 8 shots i hit a 2ft target 6 of 8 times from 50 feet using the artic frost and 5 of 8 times with the basic training.

Pros:

Solid construction
Consistent and accurate
Easy to shoot

Cons:

Extra magazine are expensive (~$40)
Grip is fat, not for small handed players
